Overview:
The Energy Healing Institute offers a diversified and balanced energy healing training curriculum for individuals who want to learn energy healing, deepen their understanding of the human energy field, the chakras and electromagnetic field (or aura).

The energy healing training curriculum is designed to guide participants through fundamental energy healing skills and practices that allow self-care and self-healing as well as skills, tools and resources for facilitating healing in a practice.

The premise at EHI is that each participant seeks to:

• learn to heal him or herself
• develop practices and models for self-care
• internalize protocols for clean, clear treatment space so that clean, clear energy healing work can be facilitated for others
• be deeply curious and motivated to serious study and ongoing research about energy healing and consciousness
• commit to developing a healing practice that incorporates the mastery of chosen modalities, integrated and coherently expressed and facilitated for patient/clients

To that end virtually all of the energy healing training courses offered at EHI may be taken once the pre-requisite course, Energy Awareness, has been completed.

The core energy healing training curriculum, Energy Awareness and Facilitating Healing move through a logical progression from energetic self-care to advanced skills for assessing energy (Clairvoyance) to delivering hands off healing in the electromagnetic field (aura), culminating with hands on healing strategies.  This building block progression takes into account the increasing complexity of interacting with the energy field of others, ensuring that participants are well grounded in hygienic practice before working and practicing with hands on healing protocols.

EHI’s Energy Healing Training Participants
EHI welcomes participants who have studied multiple forms of healing practice.  The goal of EHI is to encourage each student to be his or her own healer.  Multiple healing modalities enrich and enliven a healing practice, and offer tools and resources for the healer and the patient/client to apply to experience new levels of authentic awareness, healing and personal evolution.

While studying a subject intensely conjures the term ‘student’ in the mind, EHI prefers that energy healing training participants to be students of the work itself from within their autonomous authority.  Thus, EHI welcomes participants, seekers of mastery and invites the climate where the form is studied without the hierarchical teacher/student structure as paramount to individual mastery.  Be your own healer.

The EHI student typically has one or two modalities that they have studied and practice in their lives.  EHI energy healing training participants are:

Most have a formal healing practice, and often use the EHI energy healing training curriculum as a foundation for their work within themselves and in the world.  No one is asked to abandon their previously acquired skills and knowledge of healing work, rather the student is invited to explore the integration of modalities as the EHI energy healing training curriculum informs their perspective and lights the way to deeper practice and expertise.

One of the passions of the Founder is to support participants in integrating modalities.  The creative art of healing is expressed individually and uniquely by each student through the application and integration of chosen forms.

A life coach who uses energy clearing skills to help clients move blockages and obstacles to their goals and objectives is a coherent blend of modalities.

A naturopath who uses hands on healing facilitation to support the body in releasing held energy or emotion is another coherent example.

When the energy healing student responds to his or her call to study a singular form of healing, the complimentary modalities usually become apparent.  The healer creates his practice through the forms that resonate and harmonize, and attracts the patient/clients to the practice through the authentic mastery of the combined modalities.

The classroom environment is light and airy, conducive to learning and practicing energy clearing.  The participants were from diverse backgrounds and healing modalities, adding to the experience.

CERTIFICATION:
EHI offers an optional Certification process to its energy healing training participants.  Participants who have an active healing practice or who are considering developing one are urged to certify in the skills and practices.  The Certification is offered for the Energy Awareness and Facilitating Healing courses.  It is mandatory for the Anatomy & Physiology and Energy Anatomy course.

Certifying participants complete homework assignments to demonstrate competence and understanding of the skills and practices, take an oral or written exam, and participate in a practicum where their skills are demonstrated for review and feedback by the EHI instructor.  Certified participants have the confidence that they have taken ownership of the teachings and are on the road to mastery.

Energy Healing Training Courses:
Energy Awareness, Part 1 & 2 [prerequisite].  A 4-day training taking place over two weekends held a month apart.  Energy Awareness is the foundational energy healing training program at EHI.  Part 1 focuses on individual self-care practices, protocols for facilitating healing with others and for maintaining the treatment space, and several scientific principles that inform energy work.  The role the healer plays in facilitating healing is also discussed and explored.  The meditative explorations take place in the Astral (emotional) chakra system, where the majority of the body’s emotional energy is housed.  Participants learn grounding and clearing practices, strategies for supporting the body in life itself and within the constructs of a healing practice.

Part 2 of Energy Awareness moves the student into learning and practicing Clairvoyance.  The use of psychic awareness is a powerful resource for energy healers to apply as a way of assessing energy within as well as in patient/clients.  The use of Clairvoyance minimizes the tendency to assess energy in others through kinesthetic awareness.  When healers are feeling the energy of others, they are diluting their own essence and are creating potential implications to their overall health, well-being and authentic awareness.  Additionally, the electromagnetic field or aura is explored and cleared using skills and tools to support auric healing.

Certification:  Participants may choose to certify in the Energy Awareness training.  Certification includes completing homework assignments from the Part 1 and Part 2 curriculum that demonstrate comprehension and competence applying the skills, tools and protocols.  The homework is reviewed by EHI faculty and comments and feedback are offered each student to enhance their learning and to encourage ongoing exploration.  The certification culminates with an oral examination and a practicum, held on site at EHI’s offices.

Facilitating Healing, Part 1 & 2.  This energy healing training course is also 4-day training taking place over two weekends, held a month apart.  Facilitating Healing begins the process of steeping the student in delivering healing energy for others.  The focus of Part 1 is hands off healing.  The student learns to sense and release patterns, blockages and obstructions in the electromagnetic field.  The focus on hands off healing delivery is to enable the student to move clearly and with purpose in the auric field, without adding the level of complexity that accompanies hands on healing processes.  The student is able to increase his or her sensory awareness through repeated exposure to the electromagnetic field of peer participants.  The weekend culminates with a clinical practice session where participants deliver healing to volunteer clients.

Certification:  An optional Certification process exists for this course as well.  Participants complete relevant homework assignments to demonstrate their understanding and competence and sit for a practicum that includes facilitating energy healings for volunteer patient/clients.  Forty hours of clinical practice is also required to achieve Certification.

Anatomy & Physiology and Energy Anatomy – Eight days of training, held over two consecutive months, 4 days/month.  Participants learn an appropriate level of anatomy for energy-related therapies, along with the physiology ‘story’ that articulates and informs the learning experience.  Concurrently, the participants learn to engage energetic blueprints or frameworks for the human body as points of reference for perceiving the energy of organs, glands and systems of an individual’s body.  Appropriate levels of boundaried inquiry are discussed and practiced to retain the integrity of the healer’s perception as well as to ensure that the experience leaves no residue or implication in the healer’s electromagnetic field.  Each student will develop and populate a database of perceptions and energetic associations for each gland, organ and system.

Certification:  All energy healing training participants who take this course are required to complete the assignments for the course to receive a Certificate of Achievement.  The Certificate of Achievement is important for those practitioners who have expertise in treating the physical body or who wish to offer energetic assessments of the physical body to their patient/client population.  EHI does not espouse the idea of Medical Intuitives who are not medical professionals and does not teach diagnostic intuition.  EHI’s energy healing training curriculum teaches participants to assess the energy of the physical body in relation to diagnosed conditions and to support the individual in understanding his or her body’s etheric and emotional energy.
