Description:
Energy Awareness Part 1 & 2 is a prerequisite for most other curricula at EHI, and is the foundational core of the healing facilitator’s self-care practice.
The Energy Awareness course flows from the individual and self-care into the care of the treatment space and appropriate and boundaried processes for connecting with and assessing the patient/client’s energy field. Boundaried presence and release protocols for the patient/client relationship are learned and practiced.
The Energy Awareness material is presented in a building block format, with each skill practiced repeatedly during the weekend and subsequent trainings. The goal of each weekend is to support the participant in discovering and learning about the human energy field through the exploration of his or her own energy field. And then to take the exploration to another level by assessing and perceiving the energy fields of the other participants in the training.
The participants receive an MP3 recording of an active meditative clearing practice at the end of each weekend to assist them in internalizing and carrying their practice forward.
Additionally a comprehensive manual of illustrated skills, tools and practices accompanies each weekend training. A complete bibliography and the assignments for the optional Certification process are included with each manual, and three reference cards outlining important protocols.
Continuing Education
Credits are available for social workers and mental health counselors. Other CE’s may be available.
