There’s a huge difference between being a caregiver, where support, care, help is offered in exchange for something…a salary, the balance of give and take in a loving relationship…and a caretaker, where the role consists of supporting others without even exchange, often resulting in depletion because the role is enacted across multiple relationships.
If you’re a caretaker, you are on duty virtually everywhere you go. You’re pulled on by family members, friends, colleagues, new acquaintances. You carry an innate wisdom that leads to people seeking your advice and insights, often inappropriately. Have you ever booked a massage, manicure or other self-care activity only to find yourself caretaking the aesthetician or massage therapist who is being paid to support you? How does that happen? Believe it or not, it’s common with caretakers!
It’s an Energy Thing!
The good news is, this is an energy issue, not a life sentence. It’s habituated, to be sure, but you can unwind your energetic tendency to caretake others. You likely came by it honestly, from a life that is now long ago and far away. You’re acting out an entrenched pattern or way of operating.
Quit the Caretaker Role
Join my live, online class — Saving Yourself: Letting go of your caretaker. Learn and practice a protocol for working with your chakras and aura to wind down your caretaker as you wind up your autonomy and self-care. It’s a beautiful thing!
What do I mean by protocol? A series of energy skills that you can do in a specific, logical order. It’s like a guided meditation that helps you embrace your autonomy and let go of meeting other people’s needs at your own expense. What’s not to love about that?
In this protocol, there are 6 steps you’ll learn and practice. Five of the steps are used with your chakras, and the sixth is applied to your aura. There’s also a brief primer on intention setting, too!
There’s life beyond caretaking. There’s vibrancy, vitality and self-care. There’s connection with people who want to be with you because of your gorgeous qualities, not because they want you to take care of them.
So, are you ready? This live, online, 1.5-hour, Saving Yourself: Letting go of your caretaker Nugget is coming your way soon.
