I can’t solve the world’s problems.
I can cultivate peace.
It’s an election year in the US, and it’s getting ugly out there. The stakes are high, for sure. And fear-mongering is off the charts.
Ukraine and Russia remain in conflict. The Israeli-Palestinian conflict is escalating.
I’m done dredging up upsetting topics, I promise.
The point is, there’s a lot going on ‘out there’, and I freely acknowledge, I’m clueless about how to solve any of it! I do have agency, capacity and authority to work with what’s ‘in here’.
It’s a practice – to cultivate peace
My guess is Kennedy was talking about cultivating peace on an international level. Yet, can you feel how powerful it is to allow peace to:
- change your opinions
- erode old barriers
- build new structures
Will you and me cultivating peace solve the world’s problems? Perhaps not.
Will it support you and me to live harmoniously in spite of global, regional and perhaps personal chaos? Yes. I believe it will.
How do I Cultivate Peace?
I work with the frequency of peace. I connect with it directly, knowing that it’s both pure peace, and as I use the frequency, it’s concurrently, my version of peace. After all, on any given day, you might be more or less peaceful than me. We won’t both emanate the exact same frequency when our states of being are different. Does that make sense? Yet, peace is peace. And when we cultivate peace, we can operate in that state of being. At whatever level we’re able to do so in the moments of our day.
Beyond that, as I cultivate peace, energetic detritus, vibrations that are no longer resonant, that perhaps weren’t mine in the first place, or wispy threads of old, tired stories make way, release. They shift out of my field with ease. There’s no attachment holding them in place, because my focus is on cultivating peace.
Join me. Cultivate peace.
This week’s YouTube video offers you a simple practice for connecting with the frequency of peace. Infusing yourself with peace. Emanating peace.
As you work with the vibration, you’ll also be internalizing a bit more about the principles, or science of energy and frequency, while doing some spiffying up of your inner landscape.
